Welcome to Grymes Hill

Rich history meets cosmopolitan charm

Grymes Hill is located near the northeastern shore of Staten Island, on the second-tallest hill in the entire city. The area was originally developed for residential use thanks to the gorgeous views it offerS of the water and the rest of the surrounding island, making it appealing to wealthy New Yorkers who went on to construct sprawling manors on the hill. This history can still be seen and felt today on a drive or stroll through Grymes Hill, which is full of beautifully-preserved historic homes, spacious former estates, and those same stunning views of the New York Harbor just a short distance from the hill. Residents love the neighborhood’s charming feel and well kept homes especially the large colonial and modern styles that line its winding, hilly streets. Though many of its historic properties now serve as educational sites and other public resources, they still imbue the neighborhood with an upscale, classic feel that draws many buyers to the area.
